Same 'ol Same 'ol
It's been a while since I announced the big news for Dee and me. Since then, nothing really compares in excitement. In all reality, there isn't anything going on since she went back to New York. I've continued playing golf at a local place, trying to make my swing/game more refined and efficient. Besides that, I've been going to work down at the hospital at Ft. Knox and coming home to exercise, eat and sleep.
The wedding planning has begun also. Dee and her mother are looking at places and Dee is trying to describe what they are like. I think we've settled on a place in Alfred and the photographer that did such an amazing job at Ryan and Amy (Dee's sister and brother-in-law) wedding last summer is available for ours. (BONUS!) Two of the major decisions of the planning have already fallen into place. Few more big things then down to the nitty gritty. But we have a year to do that (actually 358 days.....weird).
Any way...I encourage you all to watch the U.S Open Tournament at Pinehurst#2. Tiger Woods has taken the World Leader position from Vijay Singh after last weekends tournament. I'm not a fan of Vijay because he has an outward appearance of "holier than thou" during his interviews. At least Tiger Woods is more of a people person and is good to his fans, at least in front of the camera. So lets cheer on Tiger and any of the underdogs who might surface at this incredibly hard course.
Oh, in other golf type news... if you are a Kevin James (King of Queens) or a Ray Romano (need I reference him?) fan, and you have HBO, there is a documentary/comedy about the PGA tournament that has celebrities and pros play together. It's on at 9PM EST/9:30 PT. The previews make it look pretty darn funny. So check it out, if for no other reason than to laugh at their hijinks.
Till next time....
